Meet Anne MacGregor, metalsmith and designer of Bloodroot Jewelry. Anne has been making jewelry for many years being formally trained at Fleming College Haliburton School of Art and Design. Anne works with metals (sterling silver, gold) and gemstones. Her studio is located in Elora, Ontario where she grew up.

A beautifully cut gemstone may play center stage in her designs, or a more subtle design element to emphasis the metalwork. Anne is attracted to irregular and geometric shapes, vibrant colours, textures, and everything nature. There is beauty in imperfections and chooses gems that have interesting features that some would disregard.
